ELKHART -- Robert A. "Bob" Perillo, 53, died at 11:01 a.m. Thursday (March 18, 2010) at his northside Elkhart home after an extended illness.

He was born April 10, 1956, to Henry "Hank" and Lorraine (Rodman) Perillo in Harvey, Ill. On Jan. 19, 2002, he married Rita M. Watson in Elkhart. She survives at home.

Also surviving are four daughters, Tabatha (Jim) Grolemund of South Bend and Nikki, Cheyanne and Victoria Perillo, all of Elkhart; son Clifford (Lisa) Perillo of Elkhart; seven grandchildren; several brothers; one sister; and one half-brother, Jim Luchetti, of Chicago. Bob was preceded in death by his parents.

Bob was an independent over-the-road truck driver for many years until his health required his early retirement. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association. No services have been planned. Cremation is taking place in accordance with his family's wishes.

Billings Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorials may be given to the American Kidney Foundation.
