Obituary

Robert L. "Bob" Kline, of Bristol, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, April 8, 2018 at his residence, at the age of 89. Bob was born in Goshen to the late Haskle and Eva (Cripe) Kline. He graduated high school and enlisted in the U.S Navy, where he served for 4 years from 1948 until his honorable discharge in 1952. On November 22, of 1952 he married Matilda A. Anglemyer. Surviving is his wife of 65 years, Matilda, 4 children, Pamela (Tony) Moore, Roger Kline, Judith (Stephen) Stewart and Laura (Gary) DeJarnatt; 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a brother George Kline survive as well. He was preceded in death by by 3 brothers, Max, Haskle Jr., and Dale Kline and 3 sisters, Evelyn Murdock, Pearl Overholser and Marjore Horn.

Bob was the shipping foremen at American Millwork for 14 years.  He then went to work for Kline's Trucking Co., where he retired after 12 years of service. Bob was an avid fisherman and loved to play cards with his friends and family.

Friends and relatives may call from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Thursday, April 12, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. Elkhart. Funeral services for Bob will be Friday, April 13, at 11:00 am. with visitation 1 hour prior. Pastor David Lade of Bethel Assembly of God will officiate.  Burial will follow at Little Pine Cemetery, with military honors by the U.S. Navy Funeral Honor Guard and DAV #19.
