He was born July 2, 1955, in South Bend to Robert E. and Queen E. (Thomas) Hamilton Sr. He married Patricia A. Tolbert on Oct. 18, 1997, in Elkhart.

She survives along with two daughters at home, Holoa Tolbert and Sondia Tolbert; five sisters, Linda J. Thomas, Pamela K. Dozier, Sondia T. Hamilton and Michelle A. Hamilton, all of South Bend, and Jan D. Jenkins of Georgia; his mother of South Bend; a grandmother, Mrs. Thompson of South Bend; and one brother, Michael D. Hamilton of South Bend.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call one hour prior to Friday's 1 p.m. funeral service at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Sam Frison will officiate. Cremation will follow the services. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hamilton was employed at Royal Rubber, South Bend, for the past 10 years.
