ELKHART - Robert W. "Bob" Windmiller, 66, of Elkhart, passed away June 7, 2017 at Golden Living Center after an extended illness. Bob was born on Oct. 27, 1950 in Elkhart to the late Wayne E. and Shirley (Hoffman) Windmiller, and lived in this area his entire life. He is survived by 2 sons, Michael L. (Stephanie) Windmiller, Robert W. (Judi) Windmiller Jr., grandson Justin Windmiller; sister Sharon A. Windmiller and a niece Kelly Worsham. Bob worked as a welder in manufacturing for most of life. He attended Howe Military Academy. He was an avid fisherman, and will be missed by Lady, his Shitzu. He was always ready and willing to help anyone in need. He read his bible daily. Per Bob's wishes, cremation was chosen. Graveside services for Bob will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Vincent Cemetery. Rev. Tim Deimer will officiate. Arrangements are under the care of Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart.
