Mr. Robert Dean "Bob" Bohs, 80, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully of natural causes at his home on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at 10:55 am.

He was born in Elkhart on October 23, 1942 to the late William C. and Nellie (Rohrer) Bohs and later married his beloved Ann S. "Sharon" Bigler on May 28, 1961. She preceded Bob in death in Elkhart on November 13, 2012.

Surviving are his daughters Marla (Tony) Magyar of Bristol and Gretchen (Matt) Reverman of Elkhart; his brother Gordon ( Ruth ) Bohs of Rochester; grandchildren Shane (Jessica) Magyar, Brandon (Megan) Magyar and Chelsea Bohs; great grandchildren Blake, Belle, Maddie, Myah, Gracie, Macie, Ellie and Jack, and a whole host of beloved extended family members and close family friends. Besides Sharon and his parents, Bob is preceded in death by sisters Dorothy "Dort" Arko and Elizabeth "Betty" Lovejoy, and his brother, Bill Bohs.

Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart will host a gathering of Bob's family and friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 5-7 pm. Services will continue with a funeral on Friday, October 27 at 10:00 am, with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Kyle Grant of Grace Bible Church of Elkhart will officiate and burial will follow at Adamsville Cemetery.

Bob and his late wife Sharon founded Bohs Well Drilling, Inc. in 1972 and maintained it for over 40 years. He enjoyed singing and dancing starting at an early age and had quite an eclectic musical taste. He loved to fish, mow his lawn, golf and of course loved going out to eat.

Because of his love for the Lord , he took great pleasure in blessing many people and helping when he could.
