Obituary
ELKHART — Ricky E. Longacre, 56, of Elkhart, formerly of White Pigeon, Mich., passed away Monday, April 18, at Golden Living Center, Mishawaka.
He was born in Three Rivers, Mich., Dec. 23, 1959, to the late Jerry E. and Jeanie (Stoddard) Longacre.
Surviving are sons Kyle and Ricky Jr. Longacre., stepdaughter Jessenia Lynn White; brothers William "Bill" (Lisa) Longacre and Jerry O. Longacre, sister Deanna (Mark) Wilcox-Moen, and former wife Tammi Smith.
Ricky graduated in 1978 from Constantine (Mich.)High School. He served in the National Guard for 10 years. Ricky was a tree climber for many years in the Michiana area for various tree trimming services. He attended Mottville (Mich.) Bible Church and enjoyed working on cars.
No services are planned at this time. Per Ricky's wishes, cremation was chosen. Memorial services may be at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart.
