Rick Lynn "Ricky" Holt, 71, of Elkhart, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Center for Hospice Care's Esther House. He was born on March 1, 1952, in Trumann, AR, to the late Geraldine Holt. Ricky is survived by a loving host of ADEC family and friends, who all adored him and his zest for life.

Cremation has been chosen and a graveside service for Ricky will be held at a later date at Little Pine Cemetery in Goshen. Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart has been assisting with arrangements.

Ricky enjoyed stopping by a local garage sale or going out shopping, whether it be to look for dress clothes, costume wear, or to find a musical gem. He could also be found having a good time enjoying a hot meal from his beloved fast-food joint, McDonald's. In recent times, Ricky began attending church with his ADEC family from time to time, enjoying the atmosphere and people he met along the way.

Ricky adored anything to do with music.  When his favorite group, The Temptations, played or when he would sing along to the gospel hymn, "How Great Thou Art", he was always so moved that it would bring a tear to his eye. Recently, he went along on a trip to see the Beach Boys and was elated over all the sights and sounds he experienced that day.

Ricky will best be remembered as a 'people person' who had a great sense of humor, was mischievous at times, and simply loved everything that life had to offer. He, along with all the love and joy he shared, will be dearly missed by those whose hearts he touched throughout his life.
