ELKHART -- Richard M. "Dick" Wolf, 69, of Elkhart, passed away at Elkhart General Hospital at 12:52 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, after a brief illness.
He was born in New York City on June 27, 1941, to Milton C. and Marguerite C. (Benjamin) Wolf. On Aug. 11, 1989, he married Barbara A. DeLanater in Elkhart. She survives.
Also surviving are son Jordan J. Wolf, at home; daughters Cassie R. (Chris) Guffey of Elkhart, Nicole A. Kujawa of Granger, and Victoria L. and Rebecca C. Wolf, both of White Pigeon, Mich.; sisters Marguerite C. Percella of Mishawaka and Marie C. Matulis of South Bend; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother David Thomas.
In accordance with his wishes, Dick was cremated. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, at Winding Waters Brethren Church, 420 C.R. 4 W., Elkhart, with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Michael Thompson will officiate.
Dick served in the U.S. Marine Corps and worked over 40 years in the local RV industry.
Memorials may be given to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
