Obituary
ELKHART — Richard M. "Rick" Holmes, 61, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, May 19, in his residence.
He was born April 24, 1953, in Elkhart to Robert L. and Marceil (Steed) Holmes.
Survivors include two sons, Jeremy (Paula) Holmes of Mishawaka and Erick (Sarah) Holmes of Elkhart; daughter Cristina (Chris) Murray of Elkhart; mother Marceil Holmes of Elkhart; three brothers, Robert (Barbara) Holmes of North Canton, Ohio, John (Theressa) Holmes of Elkhart and Kenneth (Monica) Holmes of River Falls, Wis.; two sisters, Pamela (Michael) Chamberlain of Milan, Tenn., and Diane (John) Stellingwer of Goshen; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Rick was employed in the plastic extrusion business for several years prior to his retirement.
He was a member of F & AM Kane Lodge 183.
There will be no public service. A private celebration of life service will be in July.
