IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rhonda Marie
Miller
December 31, 1966 – February 5, 2023
Ms. Rhonda Marie Miller, 56, of Elkhart, passed away at her home on Sunday, February 5, 2023. She was born in Elkhart on December 31, 1966 to the late Ronald and Sue (Reaves) Seal Cummins.
Surviving Rhonda are her sons Jacob O'Dell of Elkhart and Craig (Kandace Chaney) of Cassopolis, Michigan; daughters Julia (Brandan) Roundtree and Ashley Randall, both of Elkhart; her brother Doug Seal of Elkhart; sister Pam (Brian) Lloyd of Elkhart; grandchildren Dominic Frashchetti, Nevaeh and Jaylen Seal, Declan Belfy, Anthony Randall and Wyatt and Braeleigh Roundtree, and a whole host of loving extended family, neighbors, work colleagues and good friends, including her big Siberian Husky "Blue", who could not be reached for comment.
Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart will host Rhonda's homegoing celebration on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 1:00 pm, with visitation beginning at 11am. Pastor Marvin T. Pace of the New Vision of Life Church of Elkhart will be officiating. In accordance with Rhonda's wishes, cremation will follow services and she will then be buried at Little Pine Cemetery near Goshen.
Rhonda worked in the RV industry building cabinets for many years, and was currently employed at Alliance RV in Elkhart at the time of her passing. She always had a reputation of being a hard worker, and that reputation kind of followed her wherever she went. She also worked at the Elkhart VFW for many years as a bartender and was always willing to give plenty of "across the counter" friendly advice.
Rhonda was also a devout Indianapolis Colts fan and enjoyed playing pool (more like hustling some sucker for an easy win) and belting out Sheryl Crow and Kid Rock's "Pictures". She also enjoyed cooking for her family, and they pretty much agree that they all liked her cooking for them too! It was determined that if she served Shepherd's Pie, Baked Mostaccioli, Spaghetti or Chicken and Noodles, there wouldn't be any left-overs.
Finally, it should be mentioned that shew loved the beach, and didn't really care if it was Ideal Beach, Waikiki Beach, Myrtle Beach, Indiana Dunes or a sandbar along the St. Joe; if it had water, sand and sunshine (so she could get her tan on) it was most certainly on Rhonda's radar.
Please visit our funeral home's website and Rhonda's obituary page to leave condolences and memories. Memorial donations may go to the Rhonda Marie Miller Memorial Fund c/o her daughter, Julia Roundtree.
