ELKHART — Rhonda Kay (Christlieb) Elbert, 46, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, at her residence in Elkhart.
She was born Dec. 15, 1965, in Kendallville to Earl and Sally A. (Swartz) Christlieb. On Sept. 30, 1989, she married Greg Elbert in Elkhart.
In addition to her husband and parents, other survivors include her son, Jason Elbert of Elkhart; daughter Sara Elbert of Elkhart; two brothers, Chuck Christlieb of White Pigeon, Mich., and Joe Christlieb of Ligonier; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Christlieb.
Rhonda worked as a computer programmer with the All American Group, formerly Coachman Industries. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Bristol and the Saturday Night Breakers Bowling League. Rhonda enjoyed cross-stitching, collecting lighthouses, dolphins, books and stuffed animals. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, at First Baptist Church, 53953 C.R. 17, Bristol. Pastor John Blodgett will officiate. Cremation will follow at Altera Cremation Services.
