ELKHART — Reginald Rene Culbertson, 63, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019 at his home. He was born on March 1, 1955 to the late Charlie and Bessie R. (Lee) Culbertson in Clintwood, VA.

Rene is survived by his sisters: Janice Rakes, Charlene Tucker, Peggy Whitt, Carrie Rein, and Brenda Worley and his brothers: Tom Culbertson, Charles Culbertson, and Jack Culbertson. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ray Culbertson and Edward Culbertson.

Rene served in the United States Army in the mid to late 1970's as a medics aid for most of his tour in Germany. He worked for Damon RV Company for several years as a tool crib attendant. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and reminiscing on his past experiences.

In accordance with his family's wishes, Cremation will take place at Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart.
