Obituary
ELKHART — Rebecca Sue Weideman, 58, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, April 7, at Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born July 6, 1955, in Elkhart to Royal and Betty (Riggle) Weideman.
Survivors include a sister, Peggy Lee Rahn of Shipshewana; a brother, Stephen N. (Sue Smith) Weideman of Shipshewana; nieces and nephews Justin (Marie) Weideman, Matt Weideman, Erin (Chon) Hernandez, Jennifer O'Keefe, Serenity (Jason) King, Darcy Rahn, Gary (Nean) Smith and Paige (Van) Popp; and her longtime friend, Marilyn Marchand.
Rebecca was a service clerk for Walgreens at Cassopolis and Bristol streets for many years. She was a 1973 graduate of Elkhart Memorial High School and was an avid animal lover.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place with a memorial service to be at a later date.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home.
