Obituary
ELKHART — Rebecca L. "Becky" Stein, 60, of Elkhart, passed away at 4:11 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, in her home. She had been in ill health.
She was born in Elkhart on Nov. 23, 1954, to Donald and Mary (Lamb) Davenport.
She married Frederic H. Stein on Oct. 6, 1973, in Elkhart. He survives her at home.
Also surviving are her children, Todd (Jennifer) Stein and Lisa (Tyrone) Thurmand; grandchildren Brandon Stein and Danika and Breana Thurmand; and sister Kathy (Dave) Lewis, all of Elkhart. A host of nieces and nephews survive as well in Indiana and Michigan.
In accordance with her wishes, no service has been planned and Becky is to be cremated.
Arrangements have been placed under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart.
Becky was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, baking and spending time with her grandchildren.
