ELKHART — Rebecca Sue "Becky" Mohler, 59, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 21, at the Elkhart Hospice House, following a battle with cancer.
A lifelong native of Elkhart, Becky was born May 25, 1957, to the late Willis J. and Ellen Mae (Rosentreter) Bigler.
In addition to her parents, a son-in-law, Matthew Sanford and niece Heidi C. Bigler preceded her in death.
She married Randy L. Mohler on Feb. 12, 1977, in South Bend.
He survives along with her daughter, Stephanie D. Sanford, of Elkhart; two brothers, William E. (Nancy) Bigler of Granger, Texas, and Bennet D. (Rose Engelbrecht) Bigler of Wonder Lake, Ill.; sister Elizabeth A. Bigler of Mishawaka; and nephew Martin A. Bigler of Elkhart.
Becky worked at OSMC for 18 years as a CPC (Certified Professional Coder).
She was a member of Grace Community Church in Mishawaka.
Becky loved to draw and do cross-stitch.
Services celebrating the life of Becky S. Mohler will begin at 11 a.m. with one hour calling prior to the service Monday, Feb. 27, at Grace Community Church, 4001 Lincolnway East, Mishawaka, IN 46574.
Pastor Mike Tabor will officiate.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, at Grace Community Church.
Burial will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart.
