IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rebecca D.
Lambright
January 18, 1947 – November 16, 2007
Becky's survivors include her loving husband, Freeman "Fritz" Lambright whom she married on January 18, 1997 in Wolcottville, Ind., as well as their seven children and 18 grandchildren.
Becky was born in Elkhart, Ind., on January 18, 1947, to Lawrence and Katherine Johnson of Middlebury. She graduated from Middlebury High School in 1964 and earned her R.N. degree from South Bend Memorial School of Nursing in 1968.
In 1979, Becky began her long professional association with Dr. Mabel Blunk, whom Becky assisted in opening Bristol Street Pediatric Associates in 1987.
In her 20 years as head nurse at Bristol Street, Becky took great pleasure and pride in seeing the practice grow from a small office into a thriving seven-physician practice that today serves more than 13,000 families in northern Indiana and southern Michigan.
In addition to being a dedicated nurse, a loving wife and a devoted mother and grandmother, Becky was an accomplished gardener who delighted in the beautiful flowerbeds surrounding her home. Hummingbirds, goldfinches, and bluebirds were constant visitors to her garden and feeders. Overnight guests in her home enjoyed selecting from the assortment of colorful quilts she had sewn. Everything Becky did was done with taste, talent and an abundance of love.
Becky and Fritz's children include Renee (Jason) Mass of Cypress, TX; Richard (Emily) Zarria of Austin, TX; Rachael (Tim) Peters of Midland, MI; Brent (Sue) Lambright of Millersburg, Ind.; Brenda (Gary) Wylie-Biggs of Churubusco, Ind.; Brad (Lori) Lambright of Centerville, Ind.; and Becky (Jeff) Siegel of Millersburg, Ind. Their grandchildren are Riley, Casey, and Logan Mass; Andrew, Ian and Abigail Peters; Julia Zarria; Brandon and Brock Lambright; Tim Wylie; Christopher and Nichole Biggs; Hunter, Kara, Emma and Wade Lambright; and Jeremy and Hannah Siegel.
