ELKHART — Reba Randolph, 86, of Elkhart, passed away Monday evening, Oct. 29, 2012, at Miller's Merry Manor in Wakarusa.
She was born April 17, 1926, in Columbus, Ky., to the late Emerson and Nancy A. (Burns) Pearigen. She married Daniel E. Randolph on Aug. 25, 1962, in Union City, Tenn. He passed on Oct. 6, 2011.
Surviving are her sons, Jerry (Jan) Randolph of Marcellus, Mich., and Gary (Jan) Randolph of Elkhart; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dan Randolph; daughter Sharon Thompkins; three brothers, Raliegh, Raymond and Ray Pearigen; and three sisters, Ruth Holder, Ruby Lawrence and Pansy Cusac.
Reba was a beautician and owned her own salon in Kentucky and also worked in salons in our area. She retired in 1976 from the Sagittarian at the 100 Center in Mishawaka.
She was a member of Jamestown United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing and playing cards with her friends.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the noon Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, funeral services to celebrate Reba's life at Billings Funeral Home 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Pastor John Randolph will officiate. Burial will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery.
