June 18, 1936 - July 9, 2010

ELKHART -- Ray was called home by his Heavenly Father on July 9, 2010.

He was born on June 18, 1936, to Leo Thomas and Hazel Belle (Huntson) Lynch in Clio, Mich.

Both parents and all of his other five siblings preceded Ray in death.

Ray resided at Faith Mission in Elkhart for 15 years before entering a nursing home and ultimately Hospice House. He was estranged from his wife and children Richard (deceased) and Hazel. Once found on Facebook by a good friend, Hazel traveled from upper Canada to meet her father once again. At that time, Hazel shared with Ray that he had five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, none of which he was ever fortunate to meet.

Other unrelated loved ones included the Swihart family members Tobe and Vera, Seth and Coleen, Stephanie and Bryan, Ross and Kim, along with the families of Irene and Joe Mendez and Patti and Pat Perri.

Ray loved to fish and his favorite greeting was, "Hey Zip."

Ray was loved by many, but not as much as the Lord.
