Ralph Edward
Miller, Jr.
April 7, 1949 – April 15, 2026
Ralph Edward Miller Jr., born April 7, 1949, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, in Ixtapa, Mexico—a place he dearly loved and called his second home for over 40 years.
Ralph is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Pamela Miller; his children, Angela Marshall (Stuart), Ryan Miller (Brandie), and Dennis King (Melissa); his cherished grandchildren, Brendan Marshall (Katelynn), Sydney Simeri (Anthony), Jaxon Miller, and Alexander Miller; and his beloved great-grandchild, Giovanni Simeri.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Edward Miller Sr. and Effie Miller, as well as his sisters, Beth Looney and Sharon Pick (Jim).
Ralph grew up in the Elkhart area and attended Concord High School, where he met the love of his life, Pam. She was a cheerleader, and he was both a football player and wrestler—a reflection of the strength and determination he carried throughout his life. They were married on August 2, 1969, beginning a lifelong partnership rooted in love, faith, and shared adventure.
A natural entrepreneur and gifted salesman, Ralph built and managed several successful businesses over the years, including mobile home parks. He approached his work with passion and integrity, earning the respect of colleagues and friends alike.
Outside of work, Ralph found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved golfing—once achieving the unforgettable milestone of a hole-in-one—and spending time off-road riding. His winters in Ixtapa brought him great happiness, offering years of treasured memories with family and friends.
Above all, Ralph was a man of deep faith. He faithfully served Jehovah for many years, dedicating himself as both an elder—most recently in the Bristol, Indiana congregation—and as a full-time preacher. His life was a testament to his devotion, kindness, and unwavering belief.
Ralph will be remembered for his strong character, warm spirit, and the love he gave so freely to those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A Memorial Service will held at 6:30 pm, Friday, May 8, 2026 at The Omega Center, 2130 Middlebury St., Elkhart, IN 46516.
