Preston Leroy Templeton, Jr., 74, of Mishawaka, passed away on January 28, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Easton, PA on April 15, 1946 to the late Preston and Madeline (McElroy) Templeton.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 wonderful years, Donna Templeton; son, Preston (Heather) Templeton III; daughter, Jennifer Templeton; stepson, Brian Meadows; stepdaughter, Heddy (Scott) Leigh; grandchildren, Regan, Brooklyn, Jessica, Cody, and Wanda Mae; sisters, Viola (Herb) Burgon; Paula (Bob) Rink; and Darlene Trapp. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gregory "Cowboy" Templeton.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 4-6 p.m. at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart with a service to follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Rochelle officiating. In accordance with Preston's wishes, cremation will take place following services. At this time only 25 people are allowed in the building at one time, please follow proper social distancing procedures and wear a face mask during services. Donations may go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Preston was a kind and loving man who served proudly in the United States Navy. He worked as a painter for many years and enjoyed working around the house. Whenever he saw someone in need, he'd never hesitate to offer a helping hand. In his spare time, he loved camping and relaxing at home beside his loving wife every chance he got.
