Phyllis L. Moyer, of Elkhart, Indiana passed away early Thursday morning, September 19, 2013 at Beardsley House. She was born on May 31, 1914 in Elkhart to the late Fermer Frank and Lula Mae (Watts) Harris.  Phyllis married Wayne L. Moyer on May 26, 1934 in Plymouth. Wayne passed away in 1994 in Elkhart.
Surviving are her children, daughters, Nancy L. Hatfield and Jane L. (Robert) Boomershine both of Elkhart, and a son, Richard L. Moyer of Texas; also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, a son Kent L. Moyer, son-in-law Thomas Hatfield, granddaughter Kay Ellen Hatfield, great grandson Reese Michael Boomershine, sisters Helen Peare and Nadine Brown and her brother Russell Harris preceded her in death.
Phyllis was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting and graduated from Elkhart High School.
