ELKHART — Phillip I. "Phil" Levitz, 37, of Elkhart, passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, following a cardiac event.

He was born in Pensacola, Florida, on Nov. 26, 1980, to Carl E. and Shirley F. (Adams) Levitz. They survive.

Also surviving are children Jade R. and Gavin I. Levitz; siblings Tyler J., Wendy R. and Carl E. Levitz III; aunts and uncles Phyllis (Bruce) Troyer, Diane Mills, Roger (Diane) Levitz, Connie Roose, Brenda Beachy, Alicia and Carol Blake, Brenda Flores; and a host of loving extended family, including his fiancée, April Jones.

Phil was a saw operator at Forest River and an accomplished tattoo artist. He loved to hunt and fish and loved his children.

Services will be at Billings Funeral Home at noon Tuesday, July 10, 2018, with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. Pastor Tom Parson will officiate and burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery.
