Philip E. Quinones LaPorte, 50, of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at his residence. He was born on June 15, 1974, in Buchanan, MI to the late Fausto and Genevieve (Miller) LaPorte.

Philip is also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his daughter, Ka-Lynn LaPorte; grandchildren, Zaiden, Zander-Lee, Craig, and Keith; life partner of 12 years, Annette Duran; bonus children, Noah, Caleb, Dakota, and Gabby; brother, Michael LaPorte; and sister, Cheryl Beaver.

In accordance with the families wishes, cremation was chosen and will take place at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart. A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Philip, loving known as "Flip" by his family and "Phil" by his friends, was an independent and hard-working man who worked at Adorn Components for several years. His grandchildren were his whole world, and he would do anything for them. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching Wrestle Mania and was a devoted enthusiast of personal enlightenment. Philip will be dearly missed.
