Peggy Ann Smith, 82, of Goshen, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on Wednesday, Jan. 02, 2019 following an extended illness.

She was born Aug. 1, 1936 to the late Harold and Mildred (Denny) Grant and later married Henry L. Smith on July 30, 1960. He passed Sept. 22, 2005 in Elkhart.

Surviving are children Lori (Jeff) Hoeppner, Barbara Rodman, Robert Smith and Michael (Kathy) Smith; brother Richard Grant, 8 grand and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a brother, Glen Grant.

In accordance with Peggy's wishes, no services have been scheduled and cremation is to take place with the assistance of Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart.

Peggy was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family, home and yard. She was also an avid soap opera fan and enjoyed cats, including her current feline friend Molly, whom she leaves behind.

Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
