GOSHEN -- Paul Allen White, 52, of Goshen, died of a sudden illness at 8:43 a.m. Friday (Aug. 8, 2008) at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born March 16, 1956, in Cambridge, Ohio, to Paul E. and Linda (McHenry) White.
He is survived by a son, P.J. White; and a daughter, Kassy White, both of Walkerton; two grandchildren; his mother of Goshen; two brothers, Tony R. (Linda) White of Goshen and Bruce V. (Tracy) White of Middlebury; and a sister, Tammy J. White of Elkhart.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Veronica L. White.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. A private family graveside service will take place Wednesday at Little Pine Cemetery in Goshen, where Pastor Charlene Harris Allen of Walkerton United Methodist Church will officiate.

Mr. White had worked as a machinst at Mecca Corp. in Elkhart for the past three years. He had formerly worked at State-Wide Aluminum and as a mechanic at Gurley Leep Automotive Group, where he was certified with Mercedes Benz.
A 1974 graduate of South Bend Washington High School, he served four years in the U.S. Army, including a tour in Germany. He enjoyed computers and at one time had a private pilots license.
