Paul worked as a diesel mechanic for most of his life in various locations throughout the Elkhart County area, such as Wise International, KK Trucking, Old Dominion, and Zooks. He served proudly in the United States Army for 2 years and after he retired as a diesel mechanic, he attended Life Tabernacle Church in Elkhart. He volunteered his time as a greeter at the church and enjoyed talking to the people he met there. Paul loved to bowl and golf, but bowling was his favorite activity. He was on the Compact Homes Bowling League at the country club where his sons would bowl alongside him as a team. He did his best to never let a Friday night go by without a chance to bowl with his family. Paul loved his family, especially his grandchildren and he was always joking around with them with his quick-witted sense of humor. With his wife, he would enjoy the occasional gardening and loved planting bright beautiful flowers in his yard. Paul will be missed greatly by his loving family and many friends.
