Paul S. Martin, 73, formerly of North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Valley View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Elkhart.

Paul was born on December 31, 1948 in Great Meadows, NJ to late Russell and Julia (Pearson) Martin. He is preceded in death by his parents and 13 brothers and sisters.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Kayla Martin; son, Paul Martin Jr., brother, Gerard "Lewie" and sisters, Roberta and Patricia "Patty" and friend, Rosemary Mulder.

Paul honorably served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was stationed in the Mediterranean at that time. Paul worked as a maintenance man at Hickory Chair Co. in North Carolina. He was a skilled wood worker. Paul played acoustic guitar in a band in his early years.

Paul was very social and a wonderful storyteller.

Per his request, there will be no services and Paul will be cremated. He will be laid to rest at Little Pine Cemetery, Elkhart.
