He was born April 26, 1956, in Elkhart, to Paul V. and Gloria J. (Helmuth) Lipp.

He is survived by his mother, of Elkhart; two sisters, Deborah A. (Eddie) Hernandez of South Bend and Sue E. (Benjamin) Schwartz of Elkhart; a brother, David A. (Kathryn) Lipp of Elkhart; and his maternal grandmother, Thelma Reed of Elkhart. His father preceded him in death.

Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, with a vigil service at 5:30 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1108 S. Main St., Elkhart, with the Rev. Wilson Corzo officiating. Burial will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery.

Mr. Lipp was a 1975 graduate of Concord High School and was an avid fisherman.
