Obituary
OSCEOLA- Patrisha Lynn Rogers, 33, of Osceola, passed away Friday, February 12th after a two year battle with melanoma.
A native of Elkhart, she was born August 28, 1982 to Franklin "Frank" W. and Tisha M. (Wright) Asbury of Elkhart.
On October 12, 2013 she married Brandon M. Rogers in Osceola.
In addition to her parents and husband, other survivors include 2 daughters, Ambrosia Rogers and Alyssa Rogers, both of Osceola; 1 son, Quinten Rogers of Osceola; 1 brother, Wayne Asbury of Elkhart; 1 sister, April (Bob) Strutner of Granger, her mother and father-in-law, Michael and Vicki Rogers of Elkhart, in-laws Keri (Ian) Roberts, Lauralee Rogers, Kenny (Charity) Howland and many nieces and nephews .
Prior to her illness, Patrisha was employed with the Forest River Corporation.
She was a member of the Northside Church of the Nazarene in Elkhart.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 16th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Northside Church of the Nazarene and 1 hour prior to the 11:00 AM funeral service on Wednesday, February 17th at Northside Church of the Nazarene, 53569 County Road 7, Elkhart. Pastor Tim Sheets will officiate. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
She will be best remembered for her beautiful smile, infectious laugh and courageous battle.
Memorial contributions may be given to an educational fund for Amborsia, Alyssa and Quinten Rogers at any Teachers Credit Union location, in memory of Patrisha.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin Street, Elkhart.
