Obituary
ELKHART — Patricia Ann "Trish" Wood, 56, of Elkhart, lost her battle with cancer Wednesday, Feb. 4.
Trish was born April 10, 1958, in Amarillo, Texas, to the late Aaron C. and Terry Ann (Hostetler) Denton.
In addition to her parents, a son-in-law, Dennis Streetman, preceded her in death.
Trish is survived by her husband of 30 years, James M. Wood of Elkhart; daughters Pamela Ellen Streetman and Patricia Sen (Don) Wood-Myers, both of Elkhart; sisters Connie (Dale) Hart of West Virginia and Lindia (Mark) Barrett of Elkhart; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Trish was a 1976 graduate of Manito (Ill.) High School. She worked at Flexsteel Industries for many years. She was a life member of the Goshen Moose. Trish loved cats, the color blue, playing games — especially bingo — crocheting and computer games. She was a kind and gentle soul who will be missed by all.
Friends may call for an hour prior to the 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, celebration of life service at Billings Funeral Home. Pastor Dale R. Hart, her brother-in-law, will officiate. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. in Marion National Cemetery in Marion.
