ELKHART -- Patricia Jean Wing, 60, of Elkhart, died at 12:40 a.m. Tuesday (March 17, 2009) in Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born Nov. 19, 1948, in West Palm Beach, Fla., to Louis Eldon and Vera Jane (Judson) Swihart.

Three children, Sherrie Anne, Christopher Floyd and Mary Jane, survive, along with one brother, William C. Swihart of Loughlin, Nev.; and her aunt and caregiver, Janet Ryman of Goshen.

Ms. Wing was a homemaker, a lifelong resident of the Bristol and Elkhart area, and a 1967 graduate of Jefferson Township High School. She attended Faith United Methodist Church, Goshen.

There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. Burial will be at a later date in Oakridge Cemetery, Bristol.
