ELKHART — Patricia A. Waggoner, 63, of Simonton Lake, Elkhart, passed to her rest Thursday, Nov. 27, at Elkhart General Hospital.
Patricia was born Aug. 6, 1951, in Elkhart, to the late Dale and Margie (Wilkey) Lee.
She graduated from Elkhart High School in 1970, and a few years later began working at The Selmer Co. as a keypunch operator.
It was at Selmer that she met her future husband, Tedd M. Waggoner, and they were married Oct. 31, 1981, in Elkhart.
Tedd survives, as do their son, Lonnie (Cari) Waggoner of Elkhart; brothers Alan (Debbie) Lee of Elkhart and Philip (Donna) Lee of Osceola; two sisters, Vicki (Rob) Croy of Middlebury and Marsha (Dan) Raber of Elkhart; and several nieces and nephews survive.
Patricia loved her role as a wife, mother and homemaker.
She was a member of the Women of the Moose.
Patricia loved living at Simonton Lake, sunbathing and taking care of her house plants. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas. She went all out decorating and enjoying all it had to offer.
Patricia's family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, at the funeral home, where friends may call for one hour prior to the service. Pastor David Stauffer, a family friend and pastor at Westside Baptist Church in Kokomo, will officiate. Entombment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
