Ms. Patricia S. "Patti" Wright, 73, of Goshen, passed away peacefully at the Edwardsburg, MI home of her sister surrounded by family following a brief but courageous bout with cancer on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 12:12 am. She was born in Leonardtown, MD on May 14, 1947 to the late Samuel J. and E. Lucille (Dunbar) Wright.

Surviving Patti are her siblings Melvin J. (Elaine) Wright and Mabel L. Ward, both of Edwardsburg Margaret "Marti" Mueller of Denver, CO and Elizabeth R. "Beth" Ward of Elkhart, as well as a host of loving and close-knit nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Along with her parents, she also has several beloved brothers-in-law who have preceded her in death. (Terry Ward, Michael Mueller and Michael Ward.

Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart is hosting Patti's memorial homegoing celebration on Monday, March 29, 2021 with a visitation being held there from 4 to 5 pm, followed by a memorial service at 5:00 pm. Pastor Tim Sheets of the Northside Church of the Nazarene of Elkhart will officiate. In accordance with her wishes, Patti is to be cremated with burial later at Hanson's Cemetery north of Edwardsburg.

Patti worked over 40 years in the local RV industry as a professional seamstress, retiring after 20 years at DNA Enterprises Inc. and Canterbury Park Model Homes of Goshen in 2019.

She enjoyed spending any time she could with her family and doting on her many nieces and nephews over the years. She was also a very devout person and considered her faith as a very important part of her life. Giving and dependable, Patti was the type of friend that everyone needed but not everyone was lucky enough to have.

Patti also loved to be outdoors and enjoyed gardening and doing yardwork, mostly as an excuse to get out be in the sunshine! She will be best remembered for her warm smile and her ability to be there when you needed her!

Memorial donations made in Patti's memory may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to the Wounded Warriors Project.
