Obituary
ELKHART — Patricia A. "Pat" Sanders, 59, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, March 26, following an extended illness.
She was born Dec. 12, 1956, in South Bend, to the late Francis and Patsy (Lehman) Griman.
On June 16, 1984, she married Gary L. Sanders, in Elkhart, where he survives her at home.
Also surviving are her daughters, Lisa Sanders and June Donovan, both of Elkhart, and Amanda Anglemyer of Bristol; her son, Robert (Lindsay) Griman of Las Vegas; siblings Mary (Jim) Stroup and Marty Griman, both of Elkhart; and grandchildren Alexis, Kaylee, Paige, Paris, Logan, Lydia and Delaney. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins survive as well.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank and Joe Griman.
Pat's life will be celebrated at Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart, beginning with a visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 31, followed by a funeral service there at 2 p.m. Friday, April 1, with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Chaplain Dean Heisey of Elkhart General Hospital will officiate and cremation will follow the services.
Pat worked in the local RV industry more than 20 years, and was a member of Elkhart Chapter No. 73 of the Women of the Moose. She was a loving and caring lady who enjoyed nothing more than to be able to help someone. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren, and relished her role as "mother to all." She was a beacon from which her family set their courses; all separate journeys guided by the light of one mother's hope and love. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and attending yard sales.
