She was born Dec. 16, 1945, in Mount Carbon, W.Va., to William Thomas and Elizabeth (Robinson) Lee. She married William L. "Bill" Neff on Sept. 16, 1970, in Middlebury, Ind. He died May 19, 2005, in Edwardsburg.

Mrs. Neff is survived by one son, Shawn Neff of Edwardsburg; one daughter, Missy (Gary) Burkhead of Edwardsburg; two stepdaughters, Darlene (Mike) Sanders of Milton, Fla., and Cheryl (Charlie) Elliott of Pace, Fla.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her mother, Elizabeth Darby of Montgomery, W.Va.; one sister, Jean Manley of Montgomery; and one brother, William (Mindy) Lang of Cromwell, Ind.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, Ind., and one hour prior to Saturday's 10 a.m. funeral service at the funeral home with the Rev. Charlie Elliott officiating. Burial and graveside services will follow in Oakridge Cemetery, Bristol.

Mrs. Neff was a 1963 graduate of Montgomery High School. She worked in the bakery at Wal-Mart on C.R. 6, Elkhart, for the past six years until her health required early retirement. She had worked at Creation Windows, Elkhart, for 17 years. Mrs. Neff enjoyed dancing and her flower garden. She loved to spoil her grandchildren.
