ELKHART — Patricia Ann (Sis Pat) Lawlor passed from this world at 3:15 a.m. Sunday, July 14, 2013.
She was born on June 24, 1953, in St. Louis, to George M and Delores M (Reeves) Lawlor.
She then attended Flagstaff High School, where she graduated in 1970. She traveled the country doing a variety of jobs, having lots of experiences and meeting and touching the lives of many people. She lived in New Orleans for several years before moving to Elkhart in 2002.
Patricia was a very spiritual and powerful woman. She never sugar coated anything and her straightforward, direct manner was one of her most endearing traits. She was also a very caring, loving, intelligent woman who was always ready with a cup of coffee, an understanding heart, a shoulder to cry on and, if necessary, an attitude adjustment. She was a great friend, a surrogate parent, a soul sister and teacher.
Patricia is survived by her many friends and the family she has chosen along her journey.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart.
