ELKHART -- Patricia Anne Hummel, 55, of Elkhart, died at 9:45 a.m. Thursday (April 9, 2009) in her home.

She was born Nov. 6, 1953, in Elkhart to Frank and Irene (Replogle) Stephic.

Her mother survives along with three daughters, Stephanie Green of Elkhart, Stacy (Bill) Scarberry of Jones, Mich., and Nicolette Warren of Three Rivers, Mich.; one son, Brandon Hummel of Kalamazoo, Mich.; three brothers, Don (Bobbie) Stephic of Bristol, Gene Stephic of Elkhart, and Chuck (Brenda) Stephic of Elkhart; and 7 grandchildren.

She was preced in death by her father and her former husband, David Hummel.

She was a sales associate at the JCPenney store at the Concord Mall for 20 years. She also worked at Goshen Rubber, now Parker Hannifin Corp. She was a 1972 graduate of Elkhart High School. She loved all things to do with Mickey Mouse. She also loved to bowl and watch NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt Jr., her favorite driver.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin Street, Elkhart. Cremation will follow.
