Patricia Ann "Pat" Horner, 91, of Elkhart, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Majestic Care of Goshen. She was born on November 20, 1932, in Niles, MI, to the late Clarence and Neva (Price) Horner.

Pat is survived by her nieces, Jennifer (Scott) Holley, Amanda Ahmed, and Marjorie Bass; nephews, Scott Allen Eugene "Scotty" Holley, Kamran Christopher Campbell, and John (Marie) Houghteling; and a loving host of extended family, friends, and acquaintances.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara Houghteling, and Marjorie Reed.

In accordance with Pat's wishes, cremation has been chosen and the family will hold a celebration of life service at a later date. Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart is assisting with cremation arrangements.

Pat worked as an insurance secretary in the Niles, MI area for over 44 years until retirement. She was also a member of First Presbyterian Church in Niles, MI for over 50 years.

In her spare time, Pat enjoyed cooking, watching hummingbirds, traveling, reading romance novels, watching TV shows like 'Supernatural', and supporting her beloved Michigan Wolverines. She was deeply involved in her family's life, notably excited about the weekly Sunday dinners that were shared together.

Pat will best be remembered as a caring, thoughtful, selfless soul who adored her family and all animals. Her motto in life was to always stick by family and to come together to solve problems, something her loved ones continue to live by in her honor each day. Pat, along with all the love and joy she shared, will be dearly missed by those whose hearts she touched throughout her life.
