GOSHEN -- Patricia "Pat" Hamblin, 66, of Goshen, passed away Sunday afternoon, April 24, 2011, at IU Health Goshen Hospital.
She was born Sept. 22, 1944, in Michigan City to the late Thomas and Frances (Hendricks) Hamblin Jr.
Survivors include a sister, Pam Cavialogi, and an aunt, Florence Hill, both of LaPorte; and her many ADEC friends.
Pat loved animals and volunteered at the humane society. She also enjoyed doing word search puzzles, watching movies and tracking the moon phases.
She will be most remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and her affectionate ways.
A remembrance service to celebrate her life will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at 58808 St. Mary's Lane in Goshen. Pastor John Hart will officiate. Pat will be buried, according to her wishes, in Greenwood Cemetery with her parents in Michigan City.
Memorials may be given to either ADEC or the Humane Society of Elkhart County. Arrangements are under the direction of Billings Funeral Home.
