ELKHART — Patricia Sue "Pat" Blackburn, 73, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 5, 2012, at Elkhart General Hospital after a sudden illness.
Pat was born July 13, 1938, to the late Charles R. and Thelma Mae (Cunningham) Lowell in Elkhart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Shirley Minegar, Sharon Lowell and Barbara Marshall; and a brother, Daniel Lowell.
She married Marshall D. Blackburn in 1967.
He survives, as well as her daughter, Randee L. (Patrick) Melling; son Rodney (Cindy) Blackburn of Elkhart; five grandchildren; and brothers Gary (Tonda) Lowell and Bill Lowell of Bristol and Mike (Pat) Lowell of Elkhart.
Pat was a homemaker and formerly worked at Hermaseal Co. She loved her pets and enjoyed shopping on QVC.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2012, in Prairie Street Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any charity. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home.
