Pastor Michael Glenn "Mike" Quirey, 76, of Elkhart, went to his heavenly home on Friday, March 31, 2023, at his residence, surrounded by love and family. Pastor Mike, as everyone knew him, was born on December 5, 1946, in Evansville, Indiana to the late Bailey "Glenn" Quirey and Margaret (Steincamp) Quirey. He married his true love Sandra K. (Long) on Valentines Day 1974 at Grace Baptist Church, where he pastored, loved, and cared for his flock for 42 years.

Surviving is his loving wife of 49 years, Sandra K. Quirey; children Michelle Huss, husband Ron, Susan Wolverton, husband Bill, Michael-Jon Quirey, Sara Toner, husband Josh, and Seth Quirey, wife Rebekah; also surviving are 14 grandchildren and his siblings, Gail Huber, husband Ron, Alan Quirey, wife Sharon and Jeff Quirey, wife Tammy; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mike was the Pastor at Grace Baptist Church for 42 years. He was an avid sports fan, with the Chicago Cubs and Bears, his favorite teams. He loved to golf and listen to bluegrass music. Mike was a proud father and grandfather and enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play ball. He also enjoyed taking his family and grandkids on various vacations. Pastor Mike also enjoyed doing his Facebook Bible devotional "Words of Grace".

A celebration of the life of Pastor Michael G. Quirey will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2023, at Grace Baptist Church, 53980 CR 17, Bristol, IN. Friends may visit from 10:30 a.m. until service time. Pastor Mike Manor will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Bristol. Memorial contributions are kindly requested to the church.
