ELKHART — Parker Dwayne Edwards, 5 weeks old, passed away at 6:58 a.m. Saturday, June 14, at Riley Hospital in Indianapolis.
Parker was born on May 4, 2014, in Indianapolis, to Jonathan D. and Stacy (Smith) Edwards.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his parents, Jonathan and Stacy Edwards of Elkhart; grandparents Jeff Edwards, Peggy and Mark Greenawalt and Mike and Kathy Smith, all of Elkhart and Dora and KC Johnson of Mishawaka; great-grandparents Claudetta Edwards, Don and Alice Holder and Peggy Smith, all of Elkhart; godparents Brian Smith and Lindsey Uland, both of Mishawaka and Chris and Christy Braddock of Elkhart; and five uncles and two aunts.
Parker blessed our family with his boyish charm and strong will. He was born a miracle baby by the grace of God and touched and warmed the hearts of many. This beautiful baby boy will be loved and cherished by all.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday, June 19, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. A memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. Pastor Ray Caudill will officiate. Cremation will follow services.
