Obituary
UNION, Mich. — Norma L. LeCount, 76, of Union, passed away peacefully in her home at 9:06 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, following an extended illness.
She was born April 16, 1938, to the late Lester and Bertha (Horn) Jones.
She married Daniel J. LeCount in 1956. He survives at home.
Surviving are her daughters, Amy (Sean) Hunter and Laura (Gary) Maxwell, both of Edwardsburg; grandchildren Matthew and Emily Hunter, Christopher (Nicole) and Sarah (Josh Yocum) LeCount, Danielle (Kevin) Hembree and Richard (Jamie Winn) LeCount; and nine great-grandchildren.
A son, Daniel J. LeCount Jr., and five sisters preceded Norma in death.
A memorial gathering of friends and family will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Willowdale Pavilion, 1320 Olive St., Elkhart, Ind. Burial will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart at a later date.
Arrangements have been placed under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart.
Norma was a homemaker, but worked as a seamstress in her earlier years.
Memorial donations may be given to Hospice at Home of St. Joseph.
