Nina Sangeeta Holdread, 54, of Bristol, IN passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026.

Nina was born on July 31, 1971 in London, England, to the late, Harshad Doshi, MD and Bharati Doshi.

She married the love of her life, David “Dave” Holdread on June 18, 2014 in Oahu, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Nina is survived by her husband of 12 years, Dave Holdread of Bristol, IN; sister, Sonia (Parimal) Zaveri of Dublin, CA; stepson, Ian Holdread; grandson, Sebastian Holdread and a host of extended family, friends and co-workers who adored her.

Nina graduated from Kalamazoo College with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.

Her career took her in the information technology and information security field later becoming Information Technology Director for Athletics at the University of Notre Dame for 17 years. She also worked at Whirlpool in St. Joseph MI for 12 ½ years prior.

Nina was an avid women’s basketball fan especially the Notre Dame women’s basketball team and pro tennis. In her spare time, she enjoyed travelling around the world with Dave, bourbon tasting and attending concerts with her family and friends. Nina also enjoyed leisurely walks. Her joy was being around her family especially her grandson, Sebastian.

Nina had a generous heart, was a dedicated and hard worker.

A Funeral Service for Nina will be held at 10:00 AM EST. on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 with Fr. Michael Matthews, C.S.C. officiating.

Visitation with the family will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm Saturday, June 20, 2026 immediately after the service at the funeral home.

A reception of light refreshments will be held at our 820 Event Center during the visitation hours.
