Nevah E. Huston 69, Elkhart passed away Aug. 8, 2017 at Elkhart General Hospital.

Nevah was born June 10, 1948, New Carlisle to the late James G. and Charlotte E. (Hadongen) Conklin.

Nevah work for Hanson Cold Storage and Meijer for many years. Nevah enjoyed bingo, going to the casinos and reading. But Nevah loved spending time with her family and especially all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Nevah was survived by her daughter Duwana (Randy) Bivens and Michelle Smith; son Heath Utt; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; brothers James Conklin, Niles Conklin, Carroll Conklin and Kenneth Conklin; sisters Sandy Keener, Betty Lou Ditzer and Vickie Huston; and many nieces and nephews.

Nevah was preceded in death by her brother Eddie Conklin.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017 at 2 p.m. with a celebration of her life service at 3 p.m. at Billings Funeral Home 812 Baldwin St, Elkhart.
