Ned was a hardworking man who worked as a conductor and was a huge old car enthusiast. He attended Jimtown High School and served proudly in the United State Air Force and started his railroad career at New York Central before retiring from Norfolk-Southern. He was an active member of Life Center Church in Goshen for 20 years, where he took pride in keeping their lawns well-manicured and graciously took handicapped members to church. Ned was a member of the Elkhart Vet Center and the Corvett Club.
Ned loved working on and fixing old cars. His pride and joy were his 66’ Corvette and 68’ Impala which he would cruise around town alongside his wife. Sometimes he would enter his cars into cruise ins and car shows. Ned loved to go to Tractor Pulls at the fair, watch drag races, and any type of race involving cars. Aside from cars, his family was his whole world. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Ned will be dearly missed.
