ELKHART -- Friends of Naomi D. Plank may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Billings Funeral Home, 612 Baldwin St., Elkhart. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. David's Episcopal Church, 26824 C.R. 4, where the Rev. Henry Randolph will officiate. Cremation will take place, and burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.

Mrs. Plank, 91, died at 11 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 19, 2006) in East Lake Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Jan. 4, 1915, in Charlevoix, Mich., to Louis C. and Cleo (Ulrich) Hamlin. She married Theodore Plank. He died Oct. 19, 1995.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Plank of Camino, Calif., and Joseph (Sandra) Plank of Elkhart; one granddaughter and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Alcedo Hamlin, and a sister, Janice Stamp.

Mrs. Plank retired as a receptionist from AMAX. She enjoyed camping in northern Michigan with her husband and was a University of Notre Dame fan.
