Nancy Lee (Zimmerman) DeRosa, 64 of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday Morning, December 26, 2023 at her residence. Nancy was born October 25, 1959 in Flint, Michigan to the late Daniel L. and Barbara R. (Kline) Zimmerman. Survivors include her Husband of 22 years Carlo V. DeRosa whom she married September 28, 2001; daughter Kacey Kilmer; step daughter Karlie DeRosa; Grand daughter Lydia Maxson and her brother Kent Zimmerman.

Nancy worked as a nurse and nursing instructor for over 3 decades, teaching at Ivy Tech, Bethel, and Brown Mackie colleges. Nancy's favorite band was Queen and Michael Jackson. Nancy enjoyed going to the lake and spending time with her family. Nancy's passion besides teaching, was spending time with her grand daughter along with volunteering at the humane society.
