OSCEOLA — Nancy Jo Ulrey, 76, of Osceola, passed away Saturday, Oct. 18, in her residence.
She was born May 25, 1938, in Elkhart, to Clifford W. and Marjorie A. (Horne) Johnson.
Survivors include two daughters, Nanette (Timothy) Frank and Lari Jo Schultz, both of Elkhart; three sons, Paul II (Angela) Platz of Granger, Jeff (Janet) Ulrey of Elkhart and Larry Patrick Bartell of Osceola; two brothers, John Johnson of Jones, Mich., and Clifford "Sparky" (Shirley) Johnson of White Pigeon, Mich.; one sister, Jackie Dornan of Kalamazoo, Mich.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
Nancy was employed at Johnson Controls for more than 27 years prior to her retirement.
She often enjoyed spending time cross-stitching, gardening and canning, cooking and especially spending time with her family and friends.
Cremation will take place at Altera Cremation Services. A celebration of life service will be at a later date.
Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is entrusted with arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice in memory of Nancy.
