Nancy Lee (Cook) Moore, 88, 0f Elkhart, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025 at her residence, with her family at her side. Nancy was born June 10, 1936 in Elkhart to the late Edmond H. Cook and Velda A. (Shigley) Cook. Nancy married Richard "Dick" Moore on June 10, 1956 in Elkhart. Nancy was preceded in death by her daughter Victoria "Vicci" Lynn Moore on January 18, 2024, two brothers Bill Cook, Edward Cook and her sister Marjorie Cook.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Dick Moore; son Jeffrey E. Moore; grandson Adam R. Moore; and a sister Pat (Ron) Steele; also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Nancy retired from NIBCO in 1998 after 44 years of service. Nancy was very active. She loved to travel, cook, especially Italian dishes and wonderful casseroles. She also loved antiques, planting flowers each year around her yard and enjoyed cleaning her home. Living on the Upper St. Joseph River, she enjoyed fishing, pontoon rides and spending time with and doting on her grandson Adam. She was a huge baseball fan, with the Chicago Cubs as her favorite team. Nancy was so loved by her family and will be missed.

Cremation was chosen under the care of Billings Funeral Home. The burial will be at a later date at Rice Cemetery.
